Tour our Farm...

Arianna Farms 'Ono Kona Coffee is our lush 40 acre coffee farm where we grow three wonderfully distinctive varietals of 100% Kona Coffee.  Stretching across the verdant slopes of Hualalai Volcano, the farm is on the original "Kona Coffee Belt", the historic Mamalahoa Highway , where Kona coffee first began.  Sunny mornings and misty afternoons, with warm tropical showers and gentle ocean breezes, provide the ideal climate for growing Kona Coffee, one of the most exclusive coffees in the world.

Our Name.  We love our farm and coffee so much, we named them after our daughter, Arianna.  To show our deep respect for our Hawaiian forebears, we wanted to have a Hawaiian word in our name.  We thought  'Ono, which is Hawaiian for "delicious", was perfect!

Our land is rich in history...from a royal pig hunting ground for the Hawaiian king to one of the original Kona Coffee areas.  This continues even today, as Hawaiian friends come to hunt pig to roast for a family luau, and we continue to nurture and harvest this rare varietal called 'Old Hawaiian'.  We are now the stewards of this land, and we work hard to do our best by it!

From our farm to your cup.  Look at our label in the top left corner of this page…. It reflects our philosophy to strive for the best from farm to cup. Everything you taste in the cup begins at the farm.  Ecology is essential to how we farm, to help preserve the label's idyllic Hawaiian paradise.  That means taking care of the land and the trees the best way we can! You see the final reward:  the velvety, rich cup of 100% Kona Coffee...the taste and aroma of this magical land of rainbows, sand & sea, and verdant volcanoes.

Interesting noteWhen we first discovered the ‘Old Hawaiian Kona Coffee trees on the land, buried inside deep shrubbery, tree experts said to tear them out – they said the trees would never produce enough coffee.  We kept them, even just so people could walk through the grove and see these beautiful “grandparent trees” with their huge, gnarled stumps, and learn about early Kona Coffee history.  As it turned out, their production rate is one of the highest on the island!!!
